Haqqislam Designate Bhai University Campus as a Humanitarian Aid Center

Representatives from Haqqislam high command have released a statement requesting the designation of the Bhai University Campus as a Humanitarian Aid Center and Non-Combat zone. In a Press Conference from Bhai University’s Medical Department a Haqqislam representative stated the following; 

Waqf al-Badawi has prepared facilities at the Bhai University Campus; we can receive refugees there.

We are also ready to provide transport from reception points / forward aid stations near to the borders of Haqq-controlled territory

A further statement came from local Haqqislam Military Commander and “Voice of the Hachib” theGricks 

Any actions taken upon or into the Bhai University campus will be deemed actions against humanitarian aid workers and non-combatants. These individuals or nations will be charged thus under International Law in the Oberhaus. Further The Sword of Allah will be making it a priority to ensure the safety and security of those under its care, and will defend against any operations within or around Bhai with extreme prejudice. 

Reports of fighting between Combined Army forces and Haqqislam units in the vicinity of the University Campus have not been independently verified however when asked for comment a representative of the Ur Hegemony gave us this statement.

We express our profound regret that there was a miscommunication to some units of the Morat Aggression Force who are acting as security for a number of Ur research teams operating in the vicinity of the Jaulan Plateau Quantum Anomaly Zone. A translation software error led to the Morat term for “Aid Centre” being confused with a similar term meaning “Target Range”. Tremors Disrupt Annual Sandcastle Building Competition on Montalbán Shore.

The annual Montalbán Sandcastle Building Competition on the island of Bianca had to be rescheduled earlier today after unusual seismic activity destroyed a number of the participants’ creations before final judging could occur. 

Some participants and spectators were left in tears after sudden tremors caused many of the elaborate structures to collapse into unrecognizable heaps of sand. One particularly distraught builder who gave his name as “Angus” told our reporter:

“I’d just finished putting the dome on my recreation of the Neo-Vatican when the ground started to shake and the whole thing fell away underneath me! It’s all ruined now, I’d spent ages getting the statue of Joan just right and all…”

The cause of the tremor is thought to be related to disruptions caused by the underwater QAZ located offshore, however some local residents who were out on a pleasure cruise reported hearing the sounds of explosions coming from beneath the waves and claim to have spotted unidentified military units with a red insignia fleeing the area. 

No representatives from the local PanOceanian or Nomad relief units could be reached for comment.
