For this first game, I played against my friends tohaa army on the acquisition mission. He had declared for combined army in this campaign but was using tohaa in preparation for the satellite event happening soon.
“In the aftermath of the Endsong and the betrayal of Spiral Corp, the Tohaa trident were appalled by the poor handling of the situation by the O12 that led to outright hostility and discriminative actions taken against Tohaa civilians that had nothing to do with the action of Spiral Corp and were in no ways associated by the Spiral Corp. This, added to the Combined Army being a temporal ally of the Human sphere, led to the Tohaa Trident to set about the immediate evacuation of all Tohaa civilians from all locations, as well as assisting the evacuation of assets and personnel affiliated with Tohaa’s allying nations – The nomads, Yu jing and Haqqislam.”

Turn 1.
Seeing that the opposing force had a relatively weak flank presence, the 1st Triad with the Sakiel, Makaul and Kaeltar (CoC) rush up the left side of the board. Reaching the deployment zone, the Sakiel traded fire with the opposing sniper on the roof but only manages to strip the symbiomate away. The Sakiel and Makaul also manages to deal with some of the light infantry around the guarding the left side of the board, namely a makual and a chaksa auxiliar. However, the triad found itself too strung out to the left with little support from the back. Falling back a bit, they tried their best to make taking them out from the left as painful as possible.
The sepsitorized tohaa started off the turn by moving their triads and other offensive asset to the left flank and started to deal with the over-extended triad. Taking it apart with the HMG and Symbiobombs, the left flank sees the sakiel and Makaul dead by the end of the round and the left flank firmly dominated by the opposing triad.

Turn 2:
The second round starts off with a bang as the Sukuel with the missile launcher went after the opposing Nikoul, with a crit and hit and forcing the Nikoul to make 7 saves. Afterwhich, the Grief-Ops on the right flank tried to move forward to interfere with the opposing forces attempt to reinforce the left side of the board and to dominate the center. However, much of his shot either did not connect or failed to take out the opponent’s diplomat delegate and chaksa peripheral of one of the rasail. After dying to a random pistol shot from the chaksa peripheral, a reorganisation of the last two triad was done. The new triad with the kumotail, taquel and makaul proceeded to try and lay down a good field of fire on the right flank but was caught in a bad position as the order pool ran dry.
The opposing sepsitorised tohaa continue with the domination of the left side of the board and manage to move further ahead of the board and activate one of the consoles. The right side of the board sees the opposing rasail and the chaksa doing work and removing the taquel, kumotail and makaul.

Turn 3:
The situation was very bad for us at this point, with both a skeletal force and a loss of lieutenant. With the reinforcement dropping in, the forces were all used to focus on the left flank, with the draal taking out the opponents kosuil and makaul. The Draal also tried to touch and activate the console but failed. Attempts by both the kosuil and sakiel to take out sukuel were not successful.
In the opponent’s turn, their reinforcement dropped in the left side of the board as well and spread out between the console and the middle objective. Suffice to say there was little I could do at this point to stop him from dominating the board and so we end the game there.
