This is Taqeul officer Saau reporting.

I'm afraid that we have failed our mission...

Everything was going wonderful, we were escorting Diplomatic Saraa while she mingled with the local jet set, wonderful views, wonderful cocktails. Even Angus came to perform a short charity concert.

As instructed, Saraa was educating them on the difference between the infamous mercenary company Spiral Corps and our proper empire, everything was going smoothly.

Then a Tunguskan taskforce appeared and, without asking any questions, opened fire indiscriminately.

Under high command authorization, our small bodyguard detachment switched its task to ensure the evacuation of all civilians present.

Our reports indicate that several "civilians" present were, in fact, Tunguskan spies. With blatant lies about our forces, they convinced three civilians to not follow evacuation instructions, forcing us into a direct confrontation with the enemy to ensure their safety.

The Tunguska detachment was led by an Interventor, who commanded a force that included a Vostok unit, a Szallamandra and a plethora of merc units, including Wolfgang, Fiddler and several Zellenkriegers.

The Tohaa forces on site were composed of three Triad teams:

- An Ectros bodyguard alongside Hatail Aeelis Keesan and a Makaul
- A Sukeul sniper K1 with a Kaeltar specialist and a Kamael infantry
- Two Sukeuls (hmg and forward observer) with a Makaul

Leading them was a Taqeul with a viral combi rifle and a Diplomatic

Seeing that a frontal assault would not be efficient, the Nomads let loose their crazy drug addicts, who before the battle began had just injected themselves a potent concoction that made them move at incredible speeds.

Using the Zellenkrieger's smoke as cover, the Nomads used the registry terminals for the charity ball to check who, among the civilians on site, was Angus.

The Nomads correctly deduced that our brave Sukeul sniper was not going to allow them to simply walk to Angus, so the Szally unleashed a firestorm on her.

Sadly, the Nomads succeeded in locating Angus, resulting in a second Zellenkrieger rushing thorugh smoke to deal a fatal blow on the Panoceania star

The Triad led by the Ectros ran forward under the cover of the Makaul's eclipse grenades.

Sadly, mistake in the coordination of the movements and the Zellenkrieger immunity to pheromonic attacks, costed the Makaul his life, and halted the Tohaa advance.

Aelis managed to access the site computer to find the leader of the infiltrated spies, but she just managed to ID a regular spy

The Sukeul Triad tried to avenge Angus and stop the advance of the Other Zellenkrieger, alas, she threw a smoke grenade and evaded all the Sukeul shots.

Tunguska acted swiftly and without piety.

The Grenzer sniper turned out to be renown mercenary Sforza, who made a swift job if Aelis, but did not manage to eliminate the Ectros, as he dodged into cover.

Fiddler identified the last civilian, and murdered her in cold blood.

And a pincer attack between a Zellenkrieger and wolfgang murdered the loyal Ectros while he tried to protect a representative of the Neovatican.

A mercenary beasthunter arrived to the scene and tried to incinerate wolfgang and the zellenkrieger, regrettably, they both evaded the attack, and the Vostok killed the beasthunter, preventing him from doing anything of relevance.

A secondary help arrived from under the waters, a Helot!

We heavily suspect he was with the Libertos movement, nevertheless, the Szallamandra was better positioned than what he assumed and he was eliminated just when he was arriving to the ball.

Seeing this unexpected help fail so miserably, the Taqueul launched a pheromonic signal to form a triad with the forward observer Sukeul and the Makaul and tried to advance towards the console to unmask the spy behind this ambush.

But the Tunguskan forces were heavily fortified, and she just managed to force fiddler into cover.

Acting in cold blood, one of the drug crazed zellenkriegers rushed towards Diplomat Saraa, ignoring all her pheromonic defenses with the extreme cybernetic modifications to her body.

She rushed forward, and killed her.

Thankfully, we've been able to recover Saraa's cube after the battle, losing someone so determined in clearing the name of the Tohaa as her would have disastrous consequences.

With her aide dead, Taqeul officer Saau rushed forward under the cover of mirrorball pheroclouds.

One spy had been identified, and Saau wanted to deal with her before retreating.

Zellenkrieger Denma Connolly tried to stop her, but thanks to the cover of the mirrorball zones he was unable to catch up with her.

Slipping through all defenses, she managed to get a clean shot towards the spy, and to kill her in the nick of time.

It is unclear the motivation for this brutal attack, and although our forces managed to evacuate most of the endangered civilians, we paid an extremely high price and lost invaluable personnel in doing so.
