“no one should have been here”

The plan was simple: break into the flight control center on Rhodan Main Spaceport. Get all flight data and eliminate all traces. With the flight data we have a hot track to hunt down all Tohaa that were even near this ugly planet. a good prey, a little too easy, after all we are the Morat of the Drakeneater offensive, but worthwhile. after all, everyone wants to see these stinging critters dead right now. this brings respect not only to the hunting regiment, the EI but also to our new “friends”.
No one should have been in the building, this false weight snake ‘knife’ has failed once again. All the weak should have been evacuated, all the warriors should have contained the chaos caused by the anomalies.
But we were not alone. There were looters. Well-equipped looters. And our equipment has not been maintained with the care it deserves since we landed here.

So we advanced through the badly damaged building and secured sector by sector. until then a hunt for children. even when parts of the building collapsed and cut off our escape route, we were still joking. but then everything went wrong.

People. right in front of us. we split into 2 groups. A Daturazi and a few small beasts should form a diversion on the left flank while the main group (consisting of Kornak, Anyat, Dartok, Suryat and Kaitok) strikes from the right. A small team around Yaogat, a Hacking support and a Medic, who now no longer deserve a name, formed the rearguard and give us cover with Hacking and a Sniper.

We stormed off!

but even under heavy fire from our firebach, we could hardly land any effective hits on either the heavy-armed colorfully decorated females or their machine. it was as if our weapons had been sabotaged.
Just as we were about to break through their rails, their trap slammed shut, as if they were expecting us?
Above us, a madman who smelled of schnapps attacked, while on the other side we were shot at by exploding toys. and their weapons were really not toys.
We fell as if we were these feeble insects that has recently become our “support”.

Honorably, only the daturazi on the left flank fell. he was able to rush up to their lieutenant, but unfortunately he too fell just before he might have turned the tide.

The defeat was a disgrace , or betrayal. someone wanted to protect the Tohaa?! almost as if the people would rather be enslaved by the Tohaa.
The mission was a failure and the trail is cold

Anyway we have to regenerate for now. some of us got a new body from the EI, but the pain sits deep. our next war zone is as I heard at a resort, that will do us good. After all, bathing is good for the body and the scream of the enemy is good for the soul.
